Bill came home screaming to show me this.

He is on the CERT Team... which is part of the volunteer fire department. They were doing training exercises and he was a victim. Sad story... he wore it to Kids Are Music to be funny, and Lani saw him and immediately started SOBBING! She thought it was totally real! So Sad! He felt horrible!

Cousins, best friends!

We have so many fun adventures with our cousins since we live within 5 minutes of each other. We went to Pullen Park and had a wonderful afternoon! The rides each cost a dollar and the playgrounds are great!

Why Me????

SNAKES! Why does it have to be SNAKES!!!

Brighton is a huge lover of all things outdoors and wind animals. He will happily watch hours on end of Animal Planet Shows.

We have a deal. He catches the creatures and brings them to me for a picture, and that way we do not have to keep any as pets. Part 2 of the rule is that he has to take them FAR FAR FAR away from the house to let them go.

I am a lucky girl!!!

The friends in the back are boys club. We love them so much! They are a darling family with 6 kids that live four houses down from us. Their oldest 4 are boys, and then the youngest two are girls. They range in age from 1-11. WE LOVE "BOYS CLUB!" They put a zipline up in our back yard woods. They love playing in the mud and catching snakes... they are the perfect best friends form my 3 kids!

Anything with Daddy...

We are in the WONDERFUL phase of life where out kids want to do EVERYTHING with us. EVERYTHING!!! Like, if I am on the computer, Savvy has to sit ON MY LAP between me and the keyboard.  LUCKY ME!

Daddy was stomping soda cans and all the kids came running and wanted to help. How lucky are we?

And no, I did not make them dress color coded. I just lucked out!!

Playtime with Papa and Grammy

Grammy and Papa Gates and Great Grandpa Bodell came to play for the weekend and we went to a really fun place that is huge and filled with trampolines!

Thank you people who own Defy Gravity in Durham... your place R O C K S!!!! We can only imagine how much your insurance must be... but it is one of the funnest activities we have done as a family.
