On the job benefits!

I love my "job". As many of you know, I am the director of a children show choir, Kids Are Music.

There are so many things I LOVE about my job. One of the best things about my job is the friendships I have made through the years, both with the parents and with the kids. There are some kids that I feel so blessed to have come to know. Through the years, many have touched my life and blessed me dearly. As I see them grow, I am so proud and honored to call them my friend.

This is Cailyn, and she is wonderful. Another of those that I am so blessed to have as a friend. She is beautiful, talented and kind.
Yesterday I got to spend the day at the National Cheerleading Championships watching another one of my darling Kids Are Music alumni sparkle and shine like the amazing star she is.

Ally is a senior this year at Norte Vista High School, and she is off to bigger and better things in her life this fall. But I will always remember the sweetheart she has been in my life, and the dear friendship I cherish with her.

Ally, you were a SuperStar yesterday! I was amazed!! Fantastic job "little sister"!
Click here for a picture of Ally in action.
I love my job.

Grandma Vicki, this one is for you!

Cole's school had the COOLEST assembly. The reptile man came and entertained for an hour and the kids got to touch and learn all about the different animals.

Desert Tortoise
Gecko
Burmese Albino Python
darling, colorful frogs (Seriously... gorgeous!)
water turtle
snapping turtle
tarantula
Alligator
snakes
baby boa constrictor
and other stuff I can't remember.

This guy was great! I am going to see about hiring him for a KAM party... or Birthday party.

Savvy's newest trick...

Yep, she climbs up all by herself, and then gets her legs caught in the posts. I am terrified that she is going to pull it down on her. She is such a little monkey! She can climb anything!

Right before she did this, she took all of the wipes out of the package and threw them all over the room. Ahhhhhhhh... they are only young once, right Carrie?

Savvy Dancing

I wish I would have journaled more throughout the scary medical times of Cole's life. As I was living it, I think it was so depressing and frightening, that I never wanted to write about it, and now that seems sad. He is such a miracle to us, that we know we are very lucky.

Well, Savvy has "funky" walking problems. We are seeing a specialist this Thursday to determine what needs to be done. But here are some fun video's to help me remember how darling she is when she walks right now.

I KNOW!!!! How great is she? I am so crazy in love with my baby girl.

Introducing!

Our newest Kids Are Music performers!

Izzy, Brookelyn and Savannah!

Savannah Walking

I wanted to show my mom and dad Savvy's cute walk. She kind of waddles from side to side... We are seeing a Pediatric Orthopedic Specialist next Thursday to find out what we need to do. Her hip joints are not correctly aligned and her tibia's (bone from the ankle to the knee???) are both very curved... not straight.

Mom and dad... make sure to watch the very end. We love you!!!
