I found my camera cords!!!

Yahoo! We moved to North Carolina a month ago, and I have been packing, then unpacking boxes for months!!! I finally found my camera cord... so new blog posts to come!

Here are some thoughts for anyone who ever moves in the future. You will be very happy if you do this:
1. Tape remote controls to tvs. Also, all cords.
2. Put all electronic cords in zip lock bags and label them. (i.e. camera charger and download cables.)
3. Label all boxes. This seems like an "of course" thought... but I am amazed at how many boxes we got here with that had no label at all.
4. Carry with you on the airplane... A VIP folder, including birth certificates, passports, social security cards, adoption certifications, etc. I did this and it was a life saver for me! I was able to get insurance and new schools registered the first day I got here.
5. Put your folder with passwords for life in a VIP spot... and remember where that spot is! (Julie Bostrom taught me this and I love it!)
6. Carry baby's blanket with you on the flight. That way, when you arrive and are sleeping in new beds, new places, new rooms, baby will have her safety blanket.

hmmmm. All in all, we had a good move. We are so happy to be here!
